Incredible India

India is a beautiful country. Before I departed for this trip, I was warned of the people, to keep a hold of the smaller and younger ones. I was also warned of the smell as it is winter and the cheapest way to keep warm in this country was to burn rubbish or things of the street to keep warm. I can't say I that I have ever felt that way. I have never felt so cold and I couldn't do anything about it. I could always drive back home and tuck myself in bed. Switch the heater on. Put on the warmest jacket I have. But here, in India, some of the people don't have enough to have that 'luxury'. For us, these are our basic necessities; a bed, a bathroom, clothes etc. That was one of the big differences after visiting India. They lived selling merchandise on the streets, sleeping where they ran their business. The food wasn't enough for them either. I watched the animals and they too have very little meat on their bones, we can see their ribs.

However, the extremely plus side to India is the rich history, filled with its beauty, horror, and truth. When I was there I tried to imagine myself being there when the buildings were being built, in the years where emperors lived and carving gems into the surfaces of the building. History in a country like this should not be missed. From New Zealand, we have history, the most interesting is the fact (to me) is that we the humans that inhabited NZ once at large birds named Moas. NZ once had these amazing creatures that were much larger than we were, and also more vicious. The only thing remaining about these Moas is basically the bones found in the caves. The history is there, it is still rich with stories.

Incredible India is like its title. Incredible.

And I think everybody should have the chance to experience some of this beautiful country.
